Regional Proxies

Some services are regional, rather than globally deployed, and thus use a regional endpoint for all requests, even if a platform is specified in the request. For example, the tournament and tournament stub services are deployed only in North America, but specific platform IDs can be passed in their request bodies. For example, the following request creates a tournament provider in TR1 using the tournament stub API.

curl -X POST -d '{"region": "TR1", "url": "http://google.com"}' https://americas.api.riotgames.com/lol/tournament-stub/v3/providers?api_key=
